It's not all fruit and vegetables at the Farmer's Markets... this vendor was selling honey, and some of it was stored in an old soda case.

A long holiday weekend gave me a chance to get to a Farmer's Market, something I don't normally take the time to do. The colors, shapes, and textures were a great opportunity to grab the camera and get some photos to place in the kitchen, like these peppers waiting to be taken home. Many markets go through October, and has a great list of them.

Millions Served

The Brewers didn't have a great series against the Cardinals this week, but the weekend looks to be getting off to a good start. The seats at Miller Park have been filled to capacity many times this season, and more than three million tickets have been sold. With a month left, things are getting interesting!

This might look like the back of a normal sized chair, but it's actually a huge chair in a large room at the Art Museum.

Trying to get back in the saddle and on schedule this month... wish me luck!
