Erik Buell opened a small motorcycle shop in the 80's after leaving Harley-Davidson, and started building his own racing bikes, powered by H-D motors (like the one in today's photo). In 1998, Harley took a majority interest in the company, and closed the Buell factory a couple years ago. Erik has since opened a new shop and recently started selling racers again.
