We witnessed a strange phenomenon last night and this morning... the air temperature was warm enough to create fog, and it was cold enough to freeze at times. This created an effect where the fog froze in the air, and fell to the ground like snow. The result left everything with a film of ice that melted quickly when exposed to the sun or other heat (like a shoe). The result left telling footprints on the sidewalks, and made for some interesting driving at times.
