Last night's snow was not quite as much as expected, especially near the lake, where almost no snow fell. Further inland, we got some very large flakes at times, and the lightning was quite impressive (until it knocked out our power for two hours a little after 1:00AM). The snow against the holiday decorations has definitely put me in the mood for the next couple weeks of celebration.
