Bivouac

This marker is at Wood National Cemetery, and is fitting for the Veterans' Day rememberances this weekend:

On fame's eternal camping-ground,
Their silent tents are spread
And Glory guards with silent round
The bivouac of the dead

It is part of a poem by Theodore O'Hara, written to commemorate Kentucky troops killed in the Mexican war in 1847, and can be found in its entirety at Arlington National Cemetery.
