Eyeing up these pebbles on the beach, I noticed an uncharacteristically white object. Turning it over, I found that it had a seal of some sort. It looks like a piece of glass from the bottom of a bottle, smoothed and roughed up by the rocks and water. The glass started as sand, so I guess it's only fair that it end there as well.

A collction of this type of beach glass makes for an interesting bottom in a fish tank. Browns, greens, blues, clear, and whatever other color you find. They just light up at the bottom with a small light nearby.
