It's the end of an era at Atomic Records. Today was their last day in business after 24 years of selling music on the east side. I stopped by just to see what was going on, and wound up leaving with a t-shirt and a promo photo of one of my favorite groups, as literally everything was being sold (almost). I was gone from Milwaukee for most of Atomic's life, but it's one of those stores that will be missed - a place where you could go to look for something, and always leave with something, but not necessarily what you went there for in the first place.
