Shriner's Hospitals - Charity of the Week

Each Wednesday between now and Christmas, I'll be posting a photo related to a charity that needs your help.

Shriners Hospitals for Children is this week's charity. This statue stands outside the Shriners' Temple on Wisconsin Avenue.

Children up to the age of 18 with a variety of needs are eligible for admission and receive all care at no charge – regardless of financial need. This care is provided through the efforts of the Shriners and their fund raisers.

Yes, I know, the economy sucks. I'm not asking for a lot. Give what you can. Together, we can make a huge impact.
