It was a dark and stormy night... well, it sure seemed like it. After "The Show", we headed down to La Perla on 5th and National for some Mexican food (and a glimpse of the pepper ride in the front window). I'll be the first to admit I'm not a "purist" when it comes to Mexican, and most of what I enjoy is probably overly Americanized. However, the guacamole was fresh, the chips were warm, and the beer was cold, so I was happy.
