Well, so much for yesterday's comment about "before the snow hits"... we got a round of pretty heavy scattered flurries yesterday, turning the bridges and overpasses into skating rinks, and generally snarling traffic all over the area. Salt trucks have already been out on the roads, and I broke my ice scraper this morning cleaning off the car. A fantastic start to the winter weather season.

Every year I am fascinated by all these fresh snow shots. This year is no exception.
I can only imagine that if one is there, it is not quite so fascinating.
