Sunflower



When I was at Mitchell Boulevard Park last week, I was about to get in the car and drive off, when this patch of bright yellow flowers caught my eye. As I walked over and started looking at them, I realized that they were sunflowers that had not reached maturity. The growing shadows accentuated their brightness, and the setting sun made for a great photo op. It looks like today might be the last warm day we'll see for a while... get out and enjoy it if you can!
