Bastille Days 2008

Bastille Days is a celebration of all things French, located at Cathedral Square Park, and run by the East Town Association. One of the centerpieces is this 43-foot replica of the Eiffel Tower. The students of the Milwaukee School of Engineering (whose campus is adjacent to the park), build and maintain the tower. Just like the real thing, this one twinkles at night!

Welcome to CDP Blogs. It's going to be nice to find out a little about Milwaukeee - all that comes to mind when it's mentioned to me is beer.

I would never have suspected a celebration of all things French, let alone a replica of the Eiffel Tower. Beautiful color on the sky.
